Officials from Peru (Prime Minister Salvador del Solar and the Minister of Economy and Finance Carlos Oliva) and the UK (Mark Menzies, the Prime Minister’s Trade Envoy for Argentina, Colombia, Chile, and Peru) recently met and agreed to begin negotiations for a double taxation agreement in December 2019.
Any resulting treaty must be finalized, signed and ratified before entering into force.
