An analysis from Mijares, Taxand Mexico

Mexico’s federal government has submitted its 2027 Economic Package, setting out the country’s fiscal and economic priorities for the coming year. The package includes proposed revenue, expenditure and macroeconomic measures designed to support economic stability while maintaining public finances.

The proposals outline the government’s expectations for growth, inflation and public revenues, alongside the tax and budgetary measures that will guide fiscal policy in 2027. While the package does not introduce a sweeping tax reform, it provides important insight into the government’s fiscal strategy and policy direction. Companies with operations or investments in Mexico should review the measures carefully to assess their potential impact and prepare for any forthcoming legislative developments.

Enrique Ramírez, Nora Morales, Luis Antonio Monroy and Armando Elsharkawy from our Mexican member firm, Mijares, provide a detailed analysis of the Economic Package, which you can read here.
