During a trip to Australia this summer, Julia Nazzareno from the Taxand Global team had the opportunity to spend two days at the Sydney office of Corrs Chambers Westgarth, located on Bridge Street.
The visit provided a valuable opportunity to connect with the team, present the work of Taxand Global, and discuss the many ways the global team supports member firms through business development, learning initiatives, marketing support, and community engagement.
Julia also enjoyed a lunch with several members of the team, allowing for further conversations and exchange of ideas.
“It was a pleasure to spend time with the team and explain how Taxand Global can support their business development, knowledge sharing and community-building efforts. Face-to-face conversations always bring valuable perspectives and ideas.”
Having visited many Taxand member firms since joining Taxand, Julia particularly enjoyed discovering the Sydney office and its iconic surroundings.
“I’m lucky enough to enjoy a beautiful view of the Eiffel Tower from our Arsene office, but the panorama over Sydney Harbour was something else entirely. Looking out onto the Harbour Bridge and the Opera House was truly spectacular.”
“One of the best parts of my role is visiting our member firms and seeing first-hand the strength and diversity of the people who make up Taxand. Every visit reinforces how much we can achieve by staying connected and sharing experiences across borders.”
A sincere thank you to the Corrs team for their hospitality and for making the visit such an enjoyable and memorable experience.
This week, the team will welcome more Taxand colleagues, this time to Melbourne, as the city hosts the 78th IFA Congress.
