René Matteotti is a tax attorney and academic specializing in Swiss, European, and international tax law. He holds a tenured position as a Professor of Law at the University of Zurich, where he focuses on corporate tax law and international tax law, including transfer pricing and the GloBE-Rules.

With extensive practical experience as a tax attorney, René Matteotti has represented both domestic and international clients in complex tax disputes before tax authorities and courts. He provides valuable support to enterprises in various tax-related matters, such as resolving intricate disputes during tax audits, handling tax ruling requests, and participating in mutual agreement procedures.

René Matteotti is regularly featured in esteemed publications and is a frequent speaker and lecturer at conferences and seminars. His areas of recognition include tax controversy and dispute resolution, corporate tax, and indirect taxes.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, René Matteotti is actively engaged in the academic community and holds notable positions. He serves as a member of the scientific committee of the European Association of Tax Law Professors and chairs the joint committee of the German, Austrian, and Swiss Association of Tax Advisors.
