I started my legal career as a civil and criminal law litigator. After more than a year, I shifted my career as a tax and corporate lawyer specializing in tax advocacy and litigation, corporate advisory, immigration law, and real estate transactions.
In my 15 years of legal practice, I represented local and multinational clients in administrative and judicial protests of deficiency tax assessments and claims for refund. I likewise conducted various tax due diligence work for mergers and acquisitions and cross-border transactions.
I was part time professor of Philippine tax law at the De La Salle Lipa College of Law. On a regular basis, I provide advisory services on international mobility, particularly in hiring and intra-corporate transfers of expatriates and is extensively involved in various immigration proceedings including visa applications of different types and deportation proceedings before the Philippine Bureau of Immigration.
