Biography
• Judy Gu is a director of Hendersen Taxand. She has over fifteen years of rich first-hand experience with tax bureau and solid technical skills in the field of corporate income tax, VAT, individual income tax, investment structuring tax advisory services, covering various industries;
• Judy specializes in the review of risk areas for structuring changes and giving suggestions, participation in planning strategy to optimize entity level structure, oversight of large compliance engagements, analysis of different transactional framework’s tax consequences and tax planning, company set-up and deregistration, representing clients involved in tax audits, and individual income tax planning for high-net worth individuals;
• Judy has been assigned to a Global Fortune 500 Company’s Asia Pacific headquarters serving as Dedicated Consultant in the international tax department for one year;
• Judy Gu obtained her Bachelor of Laws degree magna cum laude at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, majoring in law. She is a China Certified Tax Agent as well as a lawyer focused on China Company Law advisory service.
