To ensure that we remain compliant with anti-spam legislation, Taxand uses Constant Contact, a permission-based email marketing tool that follows the strictest permission-based philosophies.
Taxand has a strict anti-spam policy for contacts receiving communications. Each contact has either actively opted in to be added to our distribution list, or has a pre-existing business relationship with Taxand. Taxand’s definition of a ‘pre-existing business relationship’ is aligned with our global mailing provider Constant Contact’s definition:
The recipient of your email has made a purchase, requested information, responded to a questionnaire or a survey, or had offline contact with you.
Taxand is aligned with Constant Contact's permission-based philosophies:
- Verification - Verification emails are sent on a minimum bi-annual basis to ensure that our list remains cleansed and up to date.
- Unsubscribe - Every email generated from Constant Contact contains an unsubscribe link which allows our contacts to opt-out of future emails and automatically updates our contact lists to avoid the chance of sending unwanted emails to contacts who have unsubscribed.
- Identification - Our email header information is pre-set and verified by Constant Contact so that the sender email address is always visible to the recipient (eg firstname.lastname@example.org)
- Contact Information - all of Taxand’s emails are pre-filled with our contact information including physical address.
Please contact email@example.com for further information.
