Biography
Sven-Eric Bärsch is a Tax Partner of Flick Gocke Schaumburg (Taxand Germany) and based in Frankfurt. He has broad experience in European tax planning and handling tax controversies, defending international tax and transfer pricing strategies through all phases of tax audits, and obtaining greater legal certainty from tax authorities, especially relating to tax rulings, competent authority procedures (MAPs) and bilateral APAs. His track record includes assisting on numerous complex tax disputes and litigation on behalf of multinational corporations operating and investing in Germany and Europe across a broad spectrum of sectors for more than ten years. Sven-Eric has a PhD in international business taxation and is an adjunct professor/lecturer of the Business School of the University of Mannheim, where he teaches a course in international business taxation.
