Biography
Saban Erdikler is based in Turkey where he is the Chairman of Erdikler YMM Ltd., and a leader in the field of tax consultancy. With more than 35 years of experience in local and international tax, Saban is a trusted business partner not only in the interpretation and application of tax laws, but also for issues related to investments, banking, commercial law practices, labour relations, and exchange control regulations.
Saban has provided structuring and transactional advice on the full range of corporate tax activities for hundreds of local and multinational clients, including M&As, reorganisations, restructurings and structured finance. Saban’s expertise includes foreign direct investments and international structuring of MNEs. As a result of his experience, he was the Country Managing Partner for Turkey and Balkan countries during his time as a Big 4 partner. Saban has written more than 200 articles in newspapers and magazines on a variety of subjects. He is a member of the Ministry of Finance’s Tax Council, and is qualified as Sworn Fiscal Advisor.
