Biography

Kumar Visalaksh is a Partner in the Tax practice of ELP and focuses on indirect taxes. He has been with the firm since 2006, the year he graduated from National Academy of Legal Studies and Research (NALSAR), University of Law, Hyderabad.

 

Kumar has over 8 years of experience in rendering Indirect tax advisory, transactional and litigation services. His core practice in the field of Indirect Tax i.e. Customs, Excise, Service Tax, VAT/CST, Foreign Trade Policy and Export Control related matters. He has been extensively associated with both advisory and litigation services for various Fortune 500 companies on Indirect Tax issues.

 

Kumar writes regularly on issues of indirect taxation for leading newspapers/magazines such as The Economic Times, Financial Express, Economic and Political Weekly and Indirect Taxation Review. He has also been part of number of conferences.
