Biography

Jose is based in Taxand Spain where he is a corporate tax partner at Garrigues. Over the last 12 years he has worked with many Spanish multinational groups and foreign multinational companies with operations in Spain and has developed a focus on the electricity and gas and real estate and retail sectors, as well as on tax governance developments.

Jose is a specialist in tax litigation matters and the responsible at Garrigues of the group dedicated to tax governance and tax compliance. He has published several articles in a wide range of industry sector focused publications such as the Estrategia Financiera, Cuadernos de Energía and the International Faculty for Executives-IFAES, etc.). José is a member of the Madrid Bar Association.and is a regular speaker at seminars for Centro de Estudios Garrigues, Francis Lefebvre Good Tax Practices and Tax Compliance, etc.
