Biography
Evert-Jan is a partner at Taxand Netherlands in the international tax team and specialises in the investment management sector.
Evert-Jan is tax adviser with over 17 years experience in advising on Dutch corporate and international tax law. With specific knowledge of the investment management sector, he advises on the international tax aspects with regard to cross-border business, fund and investment structures. He also assists domestic and foreign investors with the tax aspects of global investments. In addition, he has substantial experience with concluding advance tax agreements (rulings) with the Dutch Tax Authorities.
Evert-Jan is a member of the Dutch Association of Tax Advisers and the tax committee of the Dutch Private Equity Association. He also assists the Legislative Committee of the Dutch Association of Tax Advisers, in which he advises the Ministry of Finance on proposed legislation.
He speaks Dutch, English and German.
