Milan sizes up for the Taxand Global Conference 2015
Fantozzi & Associati – Taxand Italy, will host the seventh annual Taxand Global Conference in Milan on 27-29 May 2015. Taxand, the world's largest global organisation of tax advisors to multinational businesses, will bring together tax advisors and clients from across Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas to discuss the most topical tax issues affecting multinationals and to explore whether in the world of tax, during a period of global reform, one size really can fit all.
Taxanders from around the world will be joined onstage by key business leaders and guest speakers, including a key note speech by Paulo Nuncio, Minister of State for Tax of Portugal, who will discuss how reforms played a key role in Portugal's economic resurgence. Professor Moavero Milanesi will present his views on the role the global financial crisis played in evolving EU law, and noted economist Mariana Mazzucato will discuss her views on the role that the state and fiscal policy can play in economic development and the entrepreneurial process.
Frédéric Donnedieu de Vabres, Chairman of Taxand said: “During 2015 the tax world has and will experience an unprecedented moment as the OECD aims to finalise the details of its G20 backed BEPS initiative. Multinationals must be prepared for significant national and international tax changes, including new levels of transparency, other compliance burdens, and heightened reputational risks. The Taxand Global Conference will address these issues in the context of an ever-harmonising global economy, bringing together global perspectives from representatives of industry, government and Taxand advisors."
