Taxand Spain Hosts the Taxand Global Conference 2012
22 Apr 2012

Taxand Spain is hosting the Taxand Global Conference 2012 in Madrid, attended by more than 520 clients and Taxanders from around the world. Taxand competes with the Big4 and is in nearly 50 countries globally.

The growth experienced by Taxand in a relatively short time is evident; in seven years it has gone from being composed of nine firms to nearly 50, with over 400 tax partners and more than 2,000 tax advisors.

Ricardo Gomez, joint managing partner of Taxand Spain understands that knowledge, flexibility and creativity are key to its international client base; 'We know that Taxand is capable of providing the best advice possible anywhere in the world, without generating any conflict, or affecting the independence of firms that make up Taxand'. This is in fact the reason why Taxand was born, said Frederic Donnedieu de Vabres, Chairman, Taxand. He said, 'The intention was to forge a tax organisation which would allow firms that share knowledge and tax innovations as well as provide customers with an international and independent tax organisation'.

The meeting in Madrid will serve to bring together 520 clients, Taxanders and key business leaders and figureheads. There will be 5 plenaries discussing, among other issues, the different existing tax systems, how to achieve maximum efficiency, relationships with public authorities and of dealing with the current economic climate. There will be also two keynotes from the Director of analysis and strategy for Latin America of Banco Santander Jos? Juan Ruiz and Secretary of fiscal affairs Portugal, Paulo Nuncio. Ruiz will discuss the global economy while Nuncio will offer a global perspective on changes in fiscal policy.
