Taxand Recognised As Leading Tax Planning Advisor In 35 Countries
Taxand, the world's largest global organisation of independent tax advisors to multinational businesses, was present in the results in 35 Taxand countries- tantamount to 83% representation across the polling categories and an increase of 5% from 2011. (Taxand operates in 42 of the 56 countries covered).
The poll measures the quality of advice provided, rather than purely the size or amount of deals. The number of Taxand countries present in the results grew again this year with Taxand Romania and Taxand South Africa entering tier one category, while Taxand Brazil was ranked for the first time in tier two.
Frederic Donnedieu de Vabres, Chairman of Taxand commented: "The results of this poll truly demonstrate Taxand's tax planning expertise. Each year we see rising market recognition for our tax planning excellence - not only in the countries where we have long been established, but also those where we have recently expanded.
"in today's market, tax planning is increasingly important to multinationals, particularly as governments continue to modify their tax systems to manage deficit short-falls whilst striving to remain competitive for investment. Understanding how multinationals can plan taxes to optimise business performance and avoid disputes is essential. I'm delighted to see Taxand is increasing its presence and continues to be considered a top tax planning advisor in so many jurisdictions worldwide."
