Taxand meets in New York for 10th international conference
29 Apr 2013
The Taxand Global conference featured speakers and delegates from around the world and was designed to provide multinationals with key pointers to help drive business performance in an uncertain economy.

Thematic plenary sessions explored the tax topics that have an impact on international companies, including reputational risks related to tax planning, tax major global trends, the tax implications of e-commerce and the importance of VAT.

"The international conference Taxand is a fantastic opportunity for Taxanders and their clients to meet and discuss current issues affecting multinationals worldwide. This year, we noted a record attendance with over 500 delegates meetings in New York" says Frederic Donnedieu de Vabres, Chairman of Taxand.

Taxand's Take

"Over the past year, the landscape of taxation of international business has changed dramatically. This increased attention coupled with the entry into force of new regulations mean that multinationals find themselves in an unstable and changing environment where it is difficult to navigate. The New York conference focused on these developments as well as a selection of relevant news topics that will give our clients and colleagues a truly international perspective that will help them to continue their activities in these uncertain times."
