Taxand Increases Rankings in Top Transactional Tax Advisor Survey
35 Taxand countries voted top for transactional tax advice
Taxand has once again moved up the rankings in International Tax Review's (ITR) Transactional Tax Survey, for the fifth year running.
35 Taxand countries are represented in the survey results demonstrating Taxand's increased market recognition for delivering transactional tax excellence to multinationals around the world. The survey gauges the opinions of tax executives, officials and advisors on tax firms' advisory strengths, across 45 jurisdictions. In total, 78% of Taxand countries are recognised in the survey with 31 countries retaining their same ranking as last year. Year on year changes include Taxand Malta entering the results ranked in Tier 1, whilst Taxand Romania was promoted from Tier 2 to Tier 1.
This recognition follows the recent global expansion of Taxand, with both Australia and South Africa joining the organisation, bringing the total number of Taxand locations to 50.
Frederic Donnedieu de Vabres, Chairman of Taxand commented:
"Through a tough period of economic unrest, we've seen a rise in M&A activity. I'm delighted that Taxand continues to increase our market recognition for delivering quality, integrated tax advice working on some of the biggest transactions worldwide."
Ian Fleming, Taxand Global Transaction Tax Service Line Leader, said:
"The economy does appear to be stabilising. Transactions are back. However despite regained confidence, multinationals remain sensitive to economic and market conditions. To further encourage transactions we're seeing governments around the world introducing tax incentives to increase country competitiveness. Coupled with a fast changing legislative environment and increased scrutiny from tax authorities and the media, careful planning of your transactions across multiple jurisdictions will ensure you maximise your tax advantage".
