Taxand appoints new global compensation tax leader
Taxand is pleased to announce the appointment of Chris van Wijngaarden as the new leader of Taxand’s global compensation tax service line. Chris is based at Taxand Netherlands where he specialises in employee benefits and equity incentive plans as well as cross border taxation and employee social security issues.
Chris has extensive experience advising on and implementing SARs plans, stock option and other equity related plans as well as employee / executive salary splits and consulting services on structuring international operating employees. He advises several multinational and domestic listed and non-listed companies in a variety of industries.
He graduated in Tax Law from the University of Amsterdam in 2002. Before joining Taxand Netherlands he started his career at Arthur Andersen / Deloitte. Within Arthur Andersen / Deloitte he worked in the Human Capital Tax Team, with a focus on equity incentives and various expatriate taxation issues.
