Taxand achieves highest tier in Chambers Global Guide 2014
Taxand, the world’s largest global organisation of tax advisors to multinational businesses, has been awarded the highest possible ‘Band 1’ status in the Chambers Global Guide 2014 for the ‘Tax - Global-wide network’ category. The inaugural ranking included in this years’ guide, recognises the organisation’s commitment to and excellence in cross-border tax advice in nearly 50 jurisdictions.
The prestigious ranking is assessed on client service, technical ability, professional conduct, commercial astuteness, diligence and level of commitment to clients. Only three organisations, including Taxand, were recognised in the category.
Of the 29 Taxand firms with a law practice offering recognised across the suite of six Chambers regional guides, 21 were noted for their high level of demonstrable tax law acumen across their sectors and service lines – representing a 72% coverage from Taxand in this year’s guides.
Frederic Donnedieu, Chairman of Taxand, commented:
“To be recognised in the highest tier of the Chambers Global Guide is a great accolade for Taxand, and illustrates the continued recognition we receive for providing top quality tax advice to clients. I am proud to have such distinguished firms within Taxand’s global organisation.”
The Chambers Guide rankings are based on in-depth interviews with clients and lawyers around the world. The guides serve as a reference for clients looking for reliable, capable and appropriate business lawyers across global jurisdictions.
