42 Taxand Locations Across the World Recognised for Delivering High Quality Tax Advice
5 Oct 2011

Taxand, the world's largest global organisation of tax advisors to multinational businesses, has once more been highly commended in the International Tax Review's 'World Tax 2012', the comprehensive annual guide to the world's leading tax firms and tax advisors, with 42 locations across the world being recognised for high quality tax advice.

Well over half of Taxand locations were positioned in tiers one or two, acknowledging the firms' leading reputation in their jurisdiction. Locations which achieved this status include: Argentina, China, Colombia, Cyprus, Denmark, France, Greece, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Japan, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Malta, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey and Ukraine.

Impressively, despite an excellent representation in the 2011 guide, five locations have achieved movement up one tier: China, Indonesia, Belgium, San Francisco and Dallas/Houston. Taxand has also sustained its accolade of 95% of offices being recognised in the guide, the same as 2011.

The guide was compiled following the completion of a questionnaire detailing client credentials over the past year. The research also involved interviews with corporate tax directors and conversations with key practitioners in each jurisdiction worldwide.

Frederic Donnedieu de Vabres, Chairman of Taxand, said: "Taxand's continued recognition and presence within the guide demonstrates the quality of our tax advice globally. This clearly illustrates Taxand's prominent market position and reputation as a world-class tax advisory organisation.

"It is particularly pleasing to see individual offices being recognised, with 42 locations receiving acknowledgement and five achieving a tier upgrade over the last year. It fills me with great pride to be Chairman of a company which achieves 95% office representation in such a prestigious guide.

"Despite the tough economic climate where multinationals facing ever more scrutiny, the unique qualities of Taxand's structure and its depth and breadth of expertise means we can truly help clients navigate the complex tax issues they face globally."
