Alan Kirschenbaum based in Taxand USA where he is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal Taxand, LLC. Alan brings significant experience in the areas of tax, finance, treasury and operations.

Previously, Alan had a 25 year career in a corporate setting where he held the positions of Chief Financial Officer, Assistant Treasurer and Director of Tax for Fortune 500 companies, as well as start-up organisations. Alan has extensive experience in identifying, understanding and managing federal and state tax issues related to complex business transactions including mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, financings and securitisations. He also has significant experience in the area of financial accounting and corporate finance.

Alan has spent a significant portion of his career in the automotive and services industry, where he had responsibility for some of the most complex transactions and issues impacting the industry.

Alan earned both a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Florida and a master's degree in business administration from Nova Southeastern University. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Florida and member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
