Juan Carlos Ferrucho is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal Taxand, LLC in South Florida. He primarily advises U.S. multinationals and foreign public and privately-held companies with U.S. operations on complex cross-border business transactions including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, reorganizations, repatriation and financing.

Mr. Ferrucho brings more than 10 years of experience working with both public accounting and law firms. He has worked with several public and privately held corporations in a variety of industries, including the retail, manufacturing, real estate, telecommunications, energy, media, and environmental sectors. 

Mr. Ferrucho earned a bachelor's degree in business administration, with a concentration in accounting, from Florida Atlantic University. He was awarded a juris doctor, cum laude, from Indiana University, Bloomington, where he served as Associate Editor for the Indiana Law Journal. Mr. Ferrucho also holds a master of laws degree (LL.M.) in taxation from the University of Florida College of Law.  He is a member of the Florida Bar, the District of Columbia Bar, the American Bar Association and the International Fiscal Association.  Mr. Ferrucho is fluent in English and Spanish.
