Juan Carlos Ferrucho is based in Taxand USA where he is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal Taxand, LLC in South Florida. He primarily advises U.S. multinationals and foreign public and privately-held companies with U.S. operations on complex cross-border business transactions including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, reorganizations, repatriation and financing.

Juan brings more than 10 years of experience working with both public accounting and law firms. He has worked with several public and privately held corporations in a variety of industries, including the retail, manufacturing, real estate, telecommunications, energy, media, and environmental sectors. 

Juan earned a bachelor's degree in business administration, with a concentration in accounting, from Florida Atlantic University. He was awarded a juris doctor, cum laude, from Indiana University, Bloomington, where he served as Associate Editor for the Indiana Law Journal. He also holds a master of laws degree (LL.M.) in taxation from the University of Florida College of Law. He is a member of the Florida Bar, the District of Columbia Bar, the American Bar Association and the International Fiscal Association. Juan is fluent in English and Spanish.
