Steve Borman, a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal Taxand, LLC, focuses on domestic income taxation matters for large and mid-sized businesses. 

With more than 15 years of experience, Mr. Borman advises clients on matters concerning income tax accounting, tax aspects of business restructurings, Internal Revenue Service (IRS) examinations, and tax litigation assistance. He has experience in a variety of industries, including banking, finance, real estate, manufacturing, aerospace and construction.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Borman was with KPMG. 

Mr. Borman earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from Oral Roberts University and a master's of taxation degree from the University of Tulsa.  He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), and received a medal for outstanding performance on the Oklahoma CPA examination. Mr. Borman has been published in technical journals and has served as a speaker at tax executive forums.
