Paul is based in Taxand US where he is a partner at Alvarez and Marsal. Paul has more than 25 years of experience as a federal tax advisor and comes to us from PwC. Paul joined PwC in 2003 where he managed the tax provision teams for some of the largest corporations in the world and has coordinated numerous tax consulting and compliance projects that have resulted from the introduction of tax specialty groups to his tax provision clients. Prior to PwC, Paul worked for  Michael Schwartzbard & Associates between 1989 and 2001 where he was in charge of servicing their largest client, Penske Automotive Group, and was responsible for advising them on all tax matters such as tax planning, federal and state tax compliance, taxing authority audits, tax due diligence and income tax accounting matters.

Paul has significant experience with income tax accrual reviews and the related review of internal controls in the tax department and has worked for clients such as Tyco International, Cytec Industries, Roche Holdings, L’Oreal USA, Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company, Reckitt Benckiser and other major household names.

Paul holds both a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from Farleigh Dickinson University where he graduated Magna Cum Laude.  He also holds a Master’s degree in Taxation from Farleigh Dickinson University. Paul is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants.
