Erdal Ekinci is based in Taxand Turkey where he joined Erdikler Taxand, one of Turkey's leading independent firm of tax advisory firms in 2005. Erdal started his professional life in the Big 4 and has advised many local and multinational clients on Turkish and international tax matters since 1997. He has extensive experience in a broad range of domestic and international tax matters including tax treaties, transfer pricing and thin capitalisation. Erdal has written several articles about taxation and foreign direct investment (FDI) for internationally published books. He is a Turkish CPA and is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants. He also has an executive MBA degree and is writing his PhD dissertation on multinational enterprises (MNEs) and FDI.
