Jose Manuel Vázquez is based in Taxand Spain where he is a corporate tax partner at Garrigues. He has 21 years’ experience in advising on corporate acquisition structures, particularly in the private equity field. He is also an expert in the design of tax structures for asset acquisitions by high net worth individuals and family businesses. Jose Manuel has been a principal speaker at numerous seminars on a range of corporate income tax topics and he lectures on the Master’s Degree Course in Taxation at Centro de Estudios Garrigues. He has also spoken at various conferences (IFE, Recoletos, ICEX, etc.) and was a contributor to the 2007 Personal Income Tax Handbook (Garrigues Collection). Jose Manuel is a member of the Madrid Bar Association.
