Carlos Peiro is based in Taxand Spain where he is a tax partner at Garrigues. With 19 years’ experience in tax advisory, he is an expert in mergers and acquisitions and in restructuring and venture capital. Carlos has a law degree from the Universidad de Valencia, a master’s degree in corporate legal consulting from the Instituto de Empresa in 1988-1989 and a master’s degree in tax consulting from the Escuela de la Empresa in 1989-1990. He is member of the Valencia Bar Association. Carlos is also Company Secretary of several entities, and is a regular lecturer in conferences and courses of the Fundación de Estudios Bursátiles, ADEIT, Universidad de Valencia, Colegio de Economistas and Fundación Bancaza, to name a few. Carlos has published many articles in specialist trade journals and newspapers.
