Juan is a tax partner at Garrigues. He has been with Garrigues for 13 years and spent 7 of these years within the Spanish Tax Administration, focusing on tax proceedings and appeals and VAT.
He has a degree in Economics and Business Studies from the University of Valencia, and a MBA from the Polytechnic University of Valencia.
He was a lecturer on the Course for the Master’s degree in Business Management at the Universidad San Pablo CEU in 1996 to 1997 and has been a lecturer on the refresher Master’s degree for Tax Advisers at the Centre for Financial Studies and on the course for the Master’s degree in Tax Law, ADEIT.
Juan is a co-author of “Penalty proceedings, tax infringements and tax penalties”, published by Tirant lo Blanc, 2005, “Review and contesting of tax inspections”, published by Bosch, 2006, “The personal income tax reform, comments on Law 35/2006 and Royal Decree 439/2007”, Ed Thomson Aranzadi and has most recently co-authored the about to be published “Commentaries on the general regulation of tax application”.
