Tomas is a managing partner of the Wealth and Tax Planning Department at Garrigues in Barcelona and has been since 1983. He is an expert on the tax and civil legislation areas that affect individuals - personal income tax, wealth tax, inheritance and gift tax- and their how they intertwine with the corporate, financial, real estate and artistic assets of major fortunes. He is also an expert in the taxation of family businesses and regularly collaborates with family business consultants.

Tomas is a member of Barcelona Tax Association. He is co-author of books and publications on personal income tax and articles in the financial and general media on a variety of tax related issues.
