José is a corporate tax partner at Garrigues. Over the last 12 years he has worked with many Spanish multinational groups and foreign multinational companies with operations in Spain and has developed a focus on the electricity and gas and real estate sectors.

José is also a specialist in the analysis of Autonomous Community (Regional) taxes and related tax litigation matters.

He has published several articles in a wide range of industry sector focused publications and is a regular speaker at seminars for well known Spanish institutions such as the Estrategia Financiera, Cuadernos de Energía and the International Faculty for Executives-IFAES, etc.). José is a member of the Madrid Bar Association.
