Luis joined Garrigues (then Arthur Andersen) in 1982. He has been a partner at Garrigues since September 1994 and is a tax specialist operating in our Financial Service Industry Group. He works with clients in the private equity and financial services industries (particularly, investment banks, commercial banks, leasing companies, investment funds, insurance companies and pensions funds), helping them manage the tax implications of their M&As and reorganisations.

He is a member of the Economists' Association Institute of Certified Public Accountants and a Master in Tax Law by Instituto de Empresa in 1983.

Luis is the author of a range of articles and publications such as "Supplementary Employee Welfare Arrangements in Spain" - Garrigues & Andersen, Grupo BSCH 82001), "Spain as a Platform for International business Activity" - Círculo de Empresarios (1999) and has directed and taught in courses and seminars.
