Eduardo Gardeta is a partner of Garrigues and is in charge of the firm’s indirect tax practice. He joined the firm in 1987 and became partner in 2000. Eduardo advises major companies from the financial and insurance, telecommunications, automotive and distribution industries as well as the public sector. He is frequently ranked as one of Spain’s top experts in his area of expertise by Chambers & Partners and the International Tax Review.

Eduardo received his Bachelor of law from Universidad Complutense (Madrid) in 1986, his Master's degree in tax counselling from the Madrid School of Economics in 1988, and his certificate from the Special Course on Telecommunications Legislation in 1997. He has been a practicing lawyer since 1986, and is a member of the Madrid Bar Association.

Eduardo is a frequent speaker at seminars and conferences, and is author of a number of specialised articles on VAT issues. He is also a professor in the Master's program in taxation at the Centro de Estudios Garrigues. Eduardo is fluent in Spanish and English.
