Álvaro is based in Taxand Spain where he is a corporate tax partner at Garrigues in Valencia, Murcia and Alicante offices. He began his career at Arthur Andersen and afterwards at J&A Garrigues, SLP. With 20 years experience in international taxation and taxation of non-residents, business group reorganisations, mergers & acquisitions and real estate taxation. Álvaro has experience teaching from 1994 until 2011 in several seminars such as in the tax and legal seminars regarding aspects of international trade and tax planning for internationalisation processes; asset-holding companies; international taxation and the taxation of non-residents; seminar on research, development and innovation tax credits in the Corporate Income Tax Law to name just a few. He is member of the Alicante Association of Economists, Publications and Seminars.
