Ramón Bárcena is based in Taxand Spain where he joined Arthur Andersen Asesores Legales y Tributarios (now Garrigues) in 1983 and became a partner in 1993. He specialises in the tax matters associated with family business, corporate reorganisations and business transactions. Ramón lectures on tax related matters on the Master’s Degree in Taxation and the Executive MBA at Escuela de Negocios Caixanova and is a director of the Vigo Financial Club. Ramón is a member of Pontevedra Association of Economists, and of the Official Registry of Auditors. He contributes to newspapers and specialist journals on the tax implications of corporate restructurings, fiscal transparency and family business matters. Ramón is a speaker at numerous conferences, courses and seminars on tax and family business matters.
