Cristian Radulescu is based in Taxand Romania where he is a partner of Taxhouse. Cristian brings seven years of professional experience in local and international taxation at Andersen, Ernst & Young and PriceWaterhouseCoopers. He is a certified tax consultant, expert chartered accountant and registered valuator. Cristian serves mainly multinationals and emerging local companies and has been involved in significant structuring and transactional tax advising, as well as international tax consultancy on the full scope of corporate activities, including project management, tax structuring projects in various industries, transaction tax advisory, and tax reviews. He has specialised in EU VAT legislation and participated as an active member of the team involved in assisting the Romanian Ministry of Finance to align Romanian VAT legislation with the EU Directives in 2005-2006. Cristian is a trainer and speaker at various seminars and conferences on Romanian VAT and direct tax matters. Recent key activities include tax due diligence, pre- and post-EU accession VAT advice and VAT mapping, international tax structuring for high-profile real estate investments in Romania, structuring advice for multinational banks, tailored tax training, tax representation for major global pharmaceutical companies, ongoing advice to multinationals in the consumer goods market, advising leasing companies, etc. Cristian holds a BA degree in accounting and financial administration from the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest.
