Michal Gwizda

Michal Gwizda is based in Taxand Poland where he is a partner of Accreo Taxand, which he joined in November 2005.
Michal has substantial experience in negotiating State Aid packages for business undertakings and in issues related to applying for funds for new investment implementation, training programmes and environmental protection investments.
Before joining Poland’s Taxand practice, Accreo Taxand, Michal was with Ernst & Young's European Advisory Services Department from October 2002, having started his career working in the Finance Ministry's Department of International Economic Integration.
He is a graduate of Warsaw School of Economics, where he studied Finance and Banking and International Economic and Political Relations and has been a scholarship holder at the Johan Gutenberg University in Mainz. Michal has participated in the preparation of reports, analyses and publications relating to State Aid and European funds for, among others, The Economist, Harvard Business Review, Rzeczpospolita and C.H. Beck.
