Radoslaw Czarnecki is based in Taxand Poland where he is a partner and co-founder of Accreo Taxand Sp. Z o.o. He specialises in the fiscal aspects of mergers and acquisitions and conditions that ensure the tax efficiency of international structures. He began his professional career in 1994 at Arthur Andersen, where he was nominated as a partner in 2002. After the merger of Arthur Andersen and Ernst & Young’s teams in 2002, he became head of the team developing tax strategies for transactions. Radoslaw has managed numerous projects relating to foreign investments in Poland. His professional experience includes the development of tax-efficient strategies for the purchase and sale of shares in the telecommunications sector (transactions worth about USD 1 billion), restructuring of financial institutions, preparation of feasibility studies and tax-efficient structures for securitisation projects, and the design and implementation of many international capital group structures. He has represented clients in numerous disputes with tax authorities, including proceedings before the Supreme Administrative Court.
