Gerardo “Gary” V. Francisco is based in Taxand Phillipines where he is with Salvador & Associates. Gary received his Juris Doctor degree from the Ateneo de Manila Law School in 1995, where he graduated with Second Honors and was ranked 5th in his batch. He completed his Master of Laws degree from Columbia University School of Law in New York in 2001. Gary became a member of the Philippine Bar in 1996 and the New York State Bar in 2004. Gary has practiced for more than 13 years in the area of commercial law, and was formerly with the law firms of SyCip Salazar Hernandez & Gatmaitan and Batuhan Blando Concepcion & Francisco. He joined the Philippines Taxand practice, Salvador & Associates, in March 2006. Gary specialises and actively works and advises on a broad range of corporate tax, mining and regulatory matters, special projects and transactions. Gary also has extensive experience in litigation, including local and real estate tax litigation, immigration, labor and employment matters.
