Chris is the Dutch partner of Taxand's Global Compensation tax team and partner of the employment tax team based in Taxand Netherlands, VMW Taxand. Chris specialises in employee benefits and equity incentive plans as well as cross border taxation and employee social security issues. His extensive experience also includes advising on and implementing SARs plans, stock option and other equity related plans as well as employee / executive salary splits and consulting services on structuring international operating employees. Chris advises several multinational and domestic listed and non-listed companies in several specific industries.
Chris graduated in Tax Law from the University of Amsterdam in 2002. Before joining VMW Taxand he started his career at Arthur Andersen / Deloitte. Within Arthur Andersen / Deloitte he worked in the Human Capital Tax Team, with a focus on equity incentives, various expatriate taxation issues. During his years within Deloitte Chris gained additional experience on international corporate tax
