Jimmie Van der Zwaan is the key Dutch member of Taxand’s global compensation, equity and employment tax team. He is based in Taxand Netherlands where he is an attorney and partner with VMW Taxand. He joined VMW in 1997 as a tax lawyer, and became partner in January 2008. Jimmie specialises in national and international mergers and acquisitions, as well as corporate tax law and employee benefits, particularly within the energy sector. Jimmie is associated with the Tax Law Faculty at the University of Utrecht, where he studied economic, public and business law. He also studied tax law at the University of Amsterdam, and he holds an LLM in international tax law from the International Tax Centre in Leiden.
