Frans Duynstee

Frans Duynstee is based in Taxand Netherlands where he is an attorney and partner with VMW Taxand. His past work experience includes various positions with such firms as Deloitte de Boer & Van Keulen Tax Lawyers (now PricewaterhouseCoopers) from 1986 to 1989, and Star Busmann & Hooft Graafland (now CMS Derks Star Busmann) from 1989 to 1991. He joined VMW as partner in 1991, where he specialises in fiscal corporate law. Frans was a trustee of Dordtsche Petroleum-Industrie Maatschappij from 1997 to 2000, and belonged to the board of the Dutch Association of Tax Advisors (Nederlandse Orde van Belastingadviseurs) in 2001. He is a past president of the Advisory Committee Tax Law of the Dutch Bar, the Tax Law Commission and the International Association of Young Lawyers (AIJA). In 2007, Frans was appointed co-chair of the International Tax Committee of the American Bar Association/Section of International Law. He is a member of the Association of Young Lawyers (AIJA), the International Bar Association (IBA), the American Bar Association (ABA)/Sections of Taxation and International Law, and the Union Internationale des Avocats (UIA).
