Pablo Kiehnle is based in Taxand Mexico where he is a Public Accountant and a Partner of Mijares, Angoitia, Cortés y Fuentes, S.C., Mexico´s leading independent firm of tax advisors. Pablo was previously a partner of the firm Chevez, Ruiz, Zamarripa y Cía., S.C.for some 7 years.
Pablo has been a tax consultant and specialist tax advisor for over 20 years. He has broad experience in the provision of advice to optimise the taxation associated with transactions in Mexico and abroad including corporate restructures, mergers and acquisitions and securitisations. He is also experienced in providing advice related to double taxation treaties entered into by Mexico with other countries, the design and implementation of tax consolidation schemes, obtaining private rulings on transactions that require specific authorisation of the Mexican Ministry of Finance, the coordination of tax and constitutional lawsuits, and estate tax planning for individuals. Pablo advises a range of clients including corporations, civil companies and individuals with regards to all aspects of the Mexican tax regime whether they are seeking to achieve compliance or looking for tax efficient investment or indeed divestment opportunties.
Pablo has presented courses and speeches at the Universidad Panamericana (UP) and is also an active member of the College of Public Accountants of Mexico.
