Anand is based in Taxand Malaysia where he is the Executive Director at Taxand Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. He was formerly an Executive Director in the tax practice of one of the largest international accounting firms in Malaysia where he was the leader of the Energy & Utilities tax group. After leaving professional practice in early 2006, Anand joined the corporate sector where he was Group Tax Advisor to a Malaysian conglomerate that has diverse business interests and investments. He has been involved in tax structuring work covering the development and establishment of tax-efficient corporate and operating structures for in-bound and out-bound investments.
