Laurent Grençon is a partner at Atoz, and leader of the firm’s Indirect Tax practice. Laurent is also the Global Indirect Tax Leader of Taxand. His solid knowledge in financial services enables him to solve complex VAT issues for various international clients, including investment fund and asset managers, banks and insurance companies, as well as holding companies and private equity structures. Laurent has worked closely with key real estate industry players for many years. As a result, he is well known for developing structured solutions to manage VAT details within Pan-European real estate funds. Laurent’s experience also includes providing assistance with structuring supply chain transactions for companies in the commercial, retail and distribution sectors, including e-commerce businesses. Laurent is an active member of ABBL (the Luxembourg Bankers’ Association) and of ALFI (the Association of the Luxembourg Fund Industry). Laurent is chartered accountant in Luxembourg and obtained a Master’s degree in taxation at HEC Liège (Belgium).
