Stephan has over 29 years of experience in legal and tax. Before joining Sojong, Stephan served as the Asia Pacific Regional Tax Partner with KPMG International and also headed KPMG Korea tax practice. Before KPMG. Stephan’s focus is on M&A, energy, natural resources, company restructuring, real estate investment, joint ventures and foreign investments in Korea and Asia Pacific region; asset securitisation, and international commercial transactions. Stephan has advised domestic and multinational clients on a wide range of tax matters related to acquisition, disposition, and restructuring of assets, project financing, tax & customs audit defense, and foreign acquisitions and cross border transactions.
