Hiromasa Ogawa is based in Taxand Japan where he is a partner at Kojima Law Offices, a private commercial and corporate law firm in Tokyo, working closely with foreign counsels. For more than 15 years, Hiromasa has gained broad experience representing foreign and domestic companies and provided advice on corporate law, international agreements, outbound direct investments, international and domestic taxation issues and M&A matters. Hiromasa is a member of the Daini-Tokyo Bar Association, the Japan Federation of Bar Associations, and the Inter-Pacific Bar Association. He has authored articles on international and domestic legal issues for a wide range of national publications, and speaks regularly at seminars on Japanese corporate law and outbound direct investments. Recent key transactions include a successful sell-side representation on an M&A deal of approximately USD55 million, and an inbound buy-side deal for about USD30 million.
