Guido Arie Petraroli is the key Italian member of Taxand’s global real estate tax team. Guido is based in Taxand Italy where he is a corporate tax partner of Fantozzi & Associati, the leading independent Italian firm of tax advisors with offices in Rome, Milan and Bologna. With 20 years’ experience in local and international tax, Guido has earned a reputation of providing technically led, yet understandable and actionable tax advice. Working predominantly with international real estate companies, Guido has provided structuring and transactional advice on a variety of corporate tax activities, including M&As, reorganisations and restructurings. Some of Guido’s recent key transactions include acquisitions of Euro 454 million of real estate assets for a private financial institution. At the end of 2006, Guido was appointed Special Commissioner by the Italian Ministry of Economy for the restructuring of companies in the textile field.
