Bobby Parikh is based in Taxand India where he is a managing partner of BMR Advisors, India's leading independent firm of tax advisors. He also leads the firm's financial services practice. Prior to joining India's Taxand practice, BMR Advisors, Bobby was the Chief Executive Officer of Ernst & Young in India and the Country Managing Partner of Andersen until the practice combined with Ernst & Young in June 2002.

Bobby specialises in helping businesses interpret the implications of deregulation as well as the changes to India's policy framework, enabling companies across industries to better leverage opportunities that have become available and to address challenges that result from such changes. In addition to providing tax and business advisory and tax reporting services, Bobby also leads teams that advise clients in entry strategy, business model identification, business presence structuring, mergers, acquisitions, structured financial products and other business reorganisations. Bobby works closely with regulators and policy formulators, aiding in the development of new regulations and policies by providing input, assessing implications and efficacy, and providing feedback for action.

Bobby is a member of a number of trade and business associations, as well as advisory and executive boards of non-governmental and not-for-profit organisations.
