Eberhard Kalbfleisch is based in Taxand Germany where he is a partner of Luther. He is also a German lawyer ("Rechtsanwalt"), tax consultant ("Steuerberater"), and tax attorney ("Fachanwalt für Steuerrecht") with 20 years of experience providing tax and legal advice to international and national corporations and entrepreneurs. Eberhard is also the responsible coordinating partner for Luther's German tax practice and its consulting services on business succession, and is the location head of Luther’s Frankfurt office. Eberhard's main areas of practice include providing tax and legal advice in corporate acquisitions and sales, coordinating and executing multinational and multidisciplinary M&A transactions, and consulting on inheritance law and inheritance tax law in business successions. He is co-author of various standard commentaries on corporate taxation and commercial law, and a regular member of a group of authors of a professional magazine on indirect taxes.
