Tian Shu is based in Taxand China where he is a partner of Hendersen Taxand. With more than 15 years of experience working in the PRC customs area, Tian Shu started his career in the General Administration of Customs (GAC). During his years in GAC, Tian Shu worked as a customs officer of Tariff Division, Deputy Chief of the Customs Clearance Division, and the Executive Assistant of Vice Minister of GAC. Tian Shu was extensively involved in customs policy development, customs supervision and administration as well as duty exemption approval matters. In 2001, Tian Shu joined Arthur Andersen’s Beijing office as a customs manager. He subsequently joined Deloitte’s Beijing Office in 2002 as a senior manager in the tax and legal department. Tian Shu has worked with more than 10 multinational companies in the areas of tariff planning, customs lobbying, customs audit defense, and has saved his clients billions of dollars. Some of Tian Shu’s major clients include GE, BMW, Philips, Siemens, Panasonic, Canon, AMD, Bayer, and Audi.
